This monthly party is a special event as we have international guest instructors Valentina and Vasu over from Berlin. In the video below you can see them and on the night they will do a performance for us! There will be a complete beginners class at 7pm with local teachers Lydia and Tara.
About the Dance
Balboa is a type of swing dance. The footwork is more minimal than Lindy Hop and typically danced to fast music. We also practice a little of "Slow Bal", which might be described as romantic in spirit. Balboa Club is a new project in the Dublin swing dancing scene.
